Default [ExpRev] 9800GTX will hit the market in March 25

Quote:
Our source conformed that 9800GTX will hit the market in March 25. It is the second 9 series card by NVIDIA. While we can expect the 9800GX2 will be as high as 6XX USD, the price of 9800GTX still keeps unknown. We know a single 9800GTX only performs like its predecessor, but maybe it is born for 3-way SLI.

Is March 11th a concrete date for the gx2? I hear 18th but then there's so much conjecture on different sites.

Also, is there even a concrete set of specs for the GTX?

nothing is ever certain until you can order it from the vendors. All these so called 'official' dates don't mean squat. At best you can guesstimate that these cards will come out around these dates...

Thats unless nvidia decides to delay again because of crappy driver support.

My faith in the computer enthusiast market is falling hard. These new 9 series cards are not what they should be. Just a marketing scheme so nvidia can make even more money on the same 18 month old architecture, but with a smaller core revision...

im just going to get a 9600GT and call it good.... I m thinking about moving into fixing bikes again... My R6 needs to go fast! The weather is getting better...

With the crappy BS that manufactures are pulling, and the fact that i hate sitting in front of my computer all day programming, it makes me want to not think about the mest up marketing with nvidia...

Time to ride the bike and kiss my gaming/benching days good bye. And to hammer the nails in the coffin, my cal-i team dropped me because I'm pursuing a career, even though i was caring the team...

Sorry about the rant, but i truly think that the new nvidia cards are BS. And I'm not going to play their little lame marketing game.

I do agree that all they are doing is trying to make a few extra quid/bucks. I think it should be illegal to keep bringing out new model variations on the same OLD tech...its wrong.
