Post [NH] Antec planning ambient gaming products?

This is something interesting but IMO an ordinary fan would do too for that

Quote:
CeBIT usually hands us more than a few weird and unexplainable products. Most of them come from companies we haven't about before, but when Antec decides to presents a 20cm large fan with built-in and exchangeable LEDs one starts to wonder. It does look like an ordinary table fan, but that's just seems to easy. There is a small, but growing market for gaming ambiance products; I.e. products that simulate wind and light, to complete the surround sound experience. Is Antec actually thinking of getting into that? Seems odd for a company like Antec, which has a strong history of playing by the better-safe-than-sorry rule.

LOL!

To be honest I'd love an LED fan to blow nice cool air on my hot sticky fingers after an EQ2 raid all night!

I'd like to cut the side of my case and put this in there. Other then that i'm plenty happy without wind effects.

I think that it reacts with the game. Like if you were to go outside in the game, it would blow the wind in your face or something. Sounds kinda gay, but w/e...

Interesting. But I could care less about "wind effects" while playing games.

this seems like that phillips plasma tv that has the lights behind it that glow on the wall. but im not sure if there will be software to listen for "wind" noise to turn on the fan or something.
