Poor grammar is annoying, go figure.
This isn't shady at all, it's just Nvidia looking to maximize the output of the card. Most GPUs don't scale with the PCI bus, so they found a way to take advantage of the extra data transfer. More power to them. On the other hand, they didn't want to throw the card out there with that as a "feature", because then everyone would say "Ooh, they gave us an 8600 with a feature and called it a new GPU." The 9600gt is a good product. Too bad the 9800's increasingly look like they won't continue the value proposition. It's a nic bonus that Nvidia's new feature is most effective on their own chipsets, since Nvidia chipsets are set up to run a higher PCIE bus speed, isn't it? Good marketing, good product improvement, why complain?
