I believe it is claiming:

Apply to your heatsink and it will emit 10% more heat. You do want your HS to emit more heat since the heat source is a processor (or what have you).

I understand that, but the title of the thread implies the liquid itself will emit heat, which I don't want. I want it to help the heat sink to conduct heat more efficiently/effectively.

No, haven't you heard of the laws of thermal dynamics?

This follows the hidden law, that secret ingredients can break any law.

Given the poor translation, it could be a joke, saying "10% improved heat insulation".

Besides, if it's a liquid from China it probably causes cancer.
yes you do if it is refering to your heatsink.

isn't that the reason you bought a tuniq?

EDIT: bha already been covered.

just as a curiosity as I don't think the delta here is high enough but how do colors effect heat output?

Unless you have your heatsinks sitting in the sun or high-intensity lighting, it doesn't have a real impact.

I doubt it will do much, I think all it is is a compound that absorbs heat off the heatsink easier than air. If you think of thermal paste as the interface between the processor and the heatsink, this would just be the interface between the heatsink and the air.

That would only insulate the HSF and increase temperatures.

Let me see if I can explain this...

Everyone knows that if you heat iron up enough it gets "red hot", which is actually the metal giving off red wavelengths of light(electromagentic waves). If you heat this up enough it gets "infared hot", or gives off electromagnetic waves of a different (infared) frequency. Thus it transforms temperature energy to electromagnetic energy(cooling the heatsink.)

At least that is what it is supposed to do, 10% seems excessive.(It probably works, just at .01% or so.)

With any form of conversion or modulation, there is inefficiency. If you are using your heatsink to heat up anything... then you are decreasing its ability to remove heat. This in turn would only increase your source temperatures. Radiation is one of the worst forms of thermal transfer. Convection and conduction are far far faaaaaaaaaaar superior method (which what HS rely on).
