Been waiting for E7300 since january and was going to invest in it when it hits 100€,
but Q6600 is hitting 165€ (plus about 30€ shipping costs from germany ).
Let's see what happens.

Temps aren't the big enemy in the 45nm realm, the things run cool.

10 hours of Orthos I hit just over 50c @ 4Ghz, with not so great ambient temps.


Think maybe this weekend I'll go for the big 4.5Ghz. 4.2Ghz is my personal record so far, and I think it was the RAM making me unstable.

This is gonna be a great budget chip!

And to some people, you should do a bit more reading before saying most of these 45nm cpus are actually dying....
