Wow, looks like you guys in the UK are pretty screwed. Makes comcast look good by comparison. Not to mention comcast has already reversed their filtering and is trying to draft a P2P bill of rights. too little to late though, I am getting verizon fios as soon as it is available in my area.
To sum it up, basically the UK provider in question is trying to make it so that select websites load much faster than other ones (by increasing speed of the paying sites, AND decreasing the speed of nonpaying sites), based on how much the websites pay them.

2) Comcast's so called "bill of rights" is not anything that benefits the consumer. It basically outlines what they have the right to do regarding filtering and the like. They're still a god awful company.

Yeh, but they would only bother with the really big sites (youtube, myspace, facebook, etc in the UK) imo, i doubt sites like OCN would be affected... (I'm not saying it's not big though..)

Those of you that support "net neutrality" don't really know what you are supporting. Its sort of one of those misnomers, sort of like "managed free trade".
I do not support net neutrality and that doesn't mean I like the idea of content limited internet. That means I support the market deciding how the internet should run.
