Haha..

Seriously though, is the top PCI-E slot blocked by the NB sink?

Wonder how effective it is. Any how many fans you'd need going.. hmm..

will you still be able to use crossfire with that GPU heatsink or will it block the next slot? Its kinda hard to tell from the pic.

Edit: just looked at some pics and it looks like crossfire will still be possible with another hr03

Advertising products with boobs that aren't related to boobs makes me not want to by the product. I would rather see an engineer or someone actually working for the company standing by the product. I don't care who endorses what, I buy the product for its capabilities and not size of the boobs around it in pictures. Ad images like this are getting ridiculous.

Also, that motherboard looks hideous. Aside from the fact that there is way too much metal on there for me to feel comfortable supporting with a motherboard, I don't see a use for the RAMsinks. They would also be hardpressed to find an uglier color for a motherboard; if you are going to have large chunks of shiny metal, black is the color to go with, not omg-blinding-baby-poop-green.

The thing on top of the PCI slots is the graphics card cooler - when connected, it's only double slot

Woha, that's one load of negativity baby!

RAM sinks aren't actually as bad as people say - my DDR2 gets pretty hot with voltage through it; it needs active cooling, and RAM sinks help a bit. TBH, I'd buy them just cos they are big and hunky.

And maybe if you email DFI they'll change their design because you don't like it, oh master of fashion and all things black. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean you need to rant about it - I like it, but then again I liked the yellow LANParty boards and that purple Soltek one...

That wasn't a rant, that was me stating an opinion. Just because you like baby poop green doesn't mean you can classify my opinion as a rant. And if the whole point of having a custom rig with a side panel is to show what you've built and designed, then having an ugly motherboard is indeed an issue and ruins the whole thing.

I guarantee you that if a black motherboard with those heat sinks and the baby poop green motherboard shown here with those heat sinks were put side by side, the vast majority of the people would pick the black version. If you like ugly color combinations then by all means, but I'd prefer not to throw up in my mouth every time I look at my computer.

1. Stop being childish and referring to it as "baby poop green" - it's green/light green/lime green.
2. Like I said, just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's an "ugly color combination"
3. Have some respect for other people's opinions
4. Have some respect for other people.
