Default [Xtreview]AMD SB750 another delay

Quote:
There are only few data available about the update proposed by the south bridge SB750 from AMD production . This chipset component will ensure support to the RAID 5 level , and also improve the performance and the overclocking potential of systems on base of phenom processors . It is assumed that the first companion of south bridge SB750 will become the integrated chipset AMD 790GX.

Associate reports that a large part of motherboard producers will not be able to demonstrate in Computex 2008 products, based on AMD 790GX chipset , since the south bridge SB750 up to June will not be ready. Other producers will prefer to combine the north bridge AMD 790GX with the south bridge SB700, and then demonstrate their new motherboard .

In the opinion of our associates, south bridge SB750 will be finished in the end of June. We hope, that in summer the south bridge SB750 will be presented officially.
