Quote:
For announcements 4 - GB of memory sets OCZ DDR3 PC3-16000 Platinum Edition was followed reports about releases of slightly more slowly products in Reaper HPC series, distinguished by its unusual brand radiator.

DDR3 = Win

Infact this has swayed me off gettin the DFI DK P35...I think i might just get a DDR3 Motherboard, this game is moving pretty fast - I reckon within 4 months DDR3 will be the main game

1.9v is a 0.4v increase over stock DDR3 voltage

I don't like upping DDR2 by 0.3V let alone DDR3

My OCZ kit is unstable below OCZ's suggested voltage of 2.1v. Thats +0.3V, to me - these overvolted by 0.4V on default seem that OCZ have tested at that voltage and found them to be stable.

I might wait out on a Ballistix DDR3 kit.

Overvolting sometimes kills computer stuff

I wound mind +0.2V for DDR3 but obviously not +0.4V
also overvolting will make the modules become hotter

OCZ RAM always need more voltage than other competitors to run at the same timings and speed
