What a crock of #$@#! So gigabyte shows some sort of evidence (albeit thier own) showing that the EPU is virtually fake and Asus comes out to refute the claim and all they do is run a frickin advert?!?! BOOOOO Asus, boooo. Come out and PROVE that you didn't lie to everyone in the world about the improved efficiency when there were no hardware changes, PROVE that the EPU is anything but a controller for software. Don't come out and tell me a bunch of BULLCRAP about your "exclusive features", show me you aren't bald-faced LIARS.
P.S. I hope they do sue gigabyte so then we can all see the truth one way or the other, of course, they won't seing as they can't prove gigabyte false, if they could they would have in this press release.

I would definitely assume asus was unable to prove gigabyte wrong yet or at all. I think they were better off not issuing a press release at all unless they could properly counter the claims. All this does to me is show them trying to dodge around the truth by not actually saying anything. For their sake i hope they can somewhat prove gigabyte wrong but i like gigabyte better so i hope they didnt screw up either.

Yeah, I have an Asus board on the UPS truck as we speak so I don't really dislike Asus but this is a really crappy move on thier part. They should have issued an apology for the mislabelling on the boxes and press material or stayed quiet.

Exactly. Once in a while I hear "How is ASUS RMA department?", and TBH I have no friggin clue- I have NEVER had to RMA an ASUS.

![]() I hate Asus, i just think they are too big. They don't give a crap about the customer they just release boards.....if there is a problem with that board, not to worry you can buy the upgraded one rather than doing a revision. They suck in my opinion. I have owned Asus boards all through my computing career up until 5 days ago and i am not going back! ![]()

![]() Asus is Intel's lapdog. If they are having trouble messing with a board, Intel techs help them out. When they try to do it to NVidia boards, Intel techs aren't allowed to help, and NVidia gives them the finger.
