this thread is old, but proves to be wrong... we dont have 2.5tb drives yet, or 500gb laptop drives.

Actually, 500GB laptop drives are available...http://www.mwave.com/mwave/Skusearch...iteria=AA73566
As far as 2.5TB desktop drives, it would fill up rather quickly if you store Blu-Ray/HD movies on it...@ ~15-20GB per movie, the drive's free space would go poof pretty fast.
