Excellent, besides an occasional graphical bug (Crossfire has issues with shadows flickering in Frontlines Fuels of War, disable shadows and it's gone)
That's literally the only bug I can think of ATM........never had a BSOD since I installed VIsta x64 in August '07 (ATI related or not, not a single BSOD.....even from unstable OCs)
All this nonsense in this thread about people saying ATI's drivers are buggy......they probably haven't ever even owned an ATI card. People that say this are just regurgitating what they've heard on other forums.

Have any proof of that besides microsoft claims? There's a certain percent of truth in it tho. So what? U talk like ATI drivers never cause crashes.

As for "I really wish you would stop posting man" that sound kinda childish. I got it, u really want ATI to be the top dog, but it doesn't give u right to post all kind of rubbish about nVidia.
Just read around forums man.......you hear all kinds of problems regarding BSODs and black screens from people with 9600GTs and 9800GTXs. I know two people personally that experience this problem CONSTANTLY.

I can't remember ATI's drivers being particularly buggy since the 8000 series.

I've had nothing but ATI and have NEVER had a driver related problem(usually XP related )

Off topic Question: Doesn't the 8800 have problems with Source and textures not showing properly at distences? Thats the main reason I got the 3870 is because it runs Source amazing, even a huge difference from my 1950pro.

That happened with the older drivers. The newer drivers seem to have cleared it up, at least for me.

One problem I used to have with my ATI 2900XT is that it would once in a while go into 2-D mode while I was playing a game, which resulted in the game grinding to a halt and crashing.

Am I the only one confused with 'GTX 280" ? Is it the 9800GTX or what?

Sounds like a faulty card, or a bad driver install.
