yeh all this rumor poo is annoying and they should just give to a independant and they can bench the lot and laugh at the loser :P

although all aside the x2 should prove to be again a good price to performance if it is set right

I don't believe those numbers for a second. I get under 6k on the Extreme Preset with Quad SLI for godsake....

Lol, I wouldn't make that statement until there are some hardcore tests.

I don't think they will beat the nVidia cards. The cost suggests that.

so are we having two different 4870x2 cards, one with GDDR3 and the other with GDDR5? or is it one card with both GDDR3/5 on one card, b/c that's kind of what it sounds like in the article.......
