I may end up getting a GTX260 if it performs as good as they say it will.

I wonder... Somehow I think two 8800GTS G92's would do better then one GTX 260. The GTX 260 will about cost 350 euro's here (that's not an exact calculation, but it's a very close guess because most of the times prices are higher here compared to US dollar prices). And the 8800GTS G92 costs 180 euro's... So it would be about the same price for 8800GTS G92 SLI versus selling my now 8800GTS G92 and then taking a GTX 260...

Well as soon as some reviews are out, I will decide wether or not I'm going to sell my 8800gts's and go 260gtx sli.

Probably not, but I'm sure that ATI offering better performance than them at a lower price will.
The 8800 Ultra was over $600 right up until its EOL, and it took the 8800GTX over a year to even break the $400 mark. These cards are bigger, with more parts and a lower yield. The only way we're going to see GTX280 performance at anywhere close to $400 is in a bargain bin 5 years from now or if nVidia releases a 55 or 45nm shrink version.

O.O and it doesnt beat 3870x2. yes, beta drivers arent the best, but even with good drivers its performance doesnt warrant a 650+ pricetag. going ati again
w00t for summer jobs + dual monitors
