Thanks for the heads up. Thats some good info to know. Most of the newer cards have the adapters right. When i was looking at the 9800gx2 most of the cards came with a Molex 2 PCI-E 8pin. Do you think the X2 will do the same?

Of course, it needs 30A on the +12V rail, so something like 360W is recomended only for the vid card, tho I doubt it consumes as much. You'll probably be able to run 2 of them if you want to.

Not true. Most of the time the rated amps on a 12v rail is max draw and not what it puts out. As in, you can draw up to 18a on a single rail, not that the PSU can supply 18a on both rails at the same time.

Hm. That's pretty good. I got X4669 from my GTX 260 after overclocking. The 4870X2 scores 2251 better at stock clocks. That doesn't really seem like much, but Vantage Extreme does not give points out easily. It takes a big jump to gain points.

However, I was expecting better. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I will buy one of these X2's or wait and see what Nvidia has. Well, I WILL wait and see what Nvidia has, that will be the determining factor.
