Very true. Owned both the 9700CPNS LED and the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme and the TRUE blows it out of the water. Granted I had two 120mm fans on the TRUE....but they were only ~1500RPM fans.

Thermalright should have made a heatpipe direct-touch version of the TRUE120 to compete with the OCZ Vendetta 2 instead. That would be awesome.

yeah, because most of OCN members have solid case panels... and completely dark cases...

The only way for a Xig or an OCZ V2 to beat a TRUE is if you put a weak fan on the TRUE, like the Noctua or S-Flex. Figure in lapping, and the TRUE can gain quite a lead, but yes, it is too expensive for it's performance, but when it comes to overclocking, every degree counts
