There's no way it's mercury. Raw mercury (liquid metal) is extremely highly toxic to people...

lol i no about that. when i was junior in highschool 3 years ago this girl brought mercury to skool and spilled it in the classroom and they shut down the whole math wing as well as the gym since she had been in there before math class.

neat but just because its toxic they would keep it inside the heat sink enclosed youd have to crack it open to get to it like a thermometer theyve been sticking them up dog butts for ever and didnt hurt them.. long as its inside its fine.. but i am intrested. would the liquid flow into the heat pipes O.o
