On the topic of Newegg.ca, I'm not sure if this will be the Messiah everyone is hoping for. Sure they'll bring much better selection, like Robilar mentioned, but I doubt the prices will be any better. They'll take the typical stance of "you have to factor in exchange and our distribution center's location in the US, and the result is higher pricing". Even now with the dollar nearly on par with US, most e-tailers are still more expensive than US ones. It's wishful thinking that they'll swoop in and save us all, but I guess we'll just have to see what they can pull off.
