Yeah, I can agree to that. Having a single gpu thats a little slower would probably have more benefits, especially when it comes to gameplay.

So is this something that people looking into ATI would gander to NVidia?

I dont know why you guys are saying you would rather have a 280 because its single card comparing to 4870x2 when it beats them, I was looking into getting either 280GTX SLI or 4870x2 X2 but i dont know which to get! It seems crysis is the only game that 280gTX SLI is better.
