hmm do agree the new logos do look pretty sweet,eye catching too. as previously mentioned,not sure why i7.
is it the final product name? i7?

I would have preferred Core3 as well. It's gonna be awkward searching Google for i7 and getting random crap like digital cameras.

I think Pentium = i5, Core2 = i6, Nehalem=i7.

Just guessing here, but each do represent a major architecture change from previous generation.

It's a bit of a failure because that's actually a 775 CPU, but what the hell. Also, it's sloppy, but that suits it.
