Default [tcMag] MSI lets loose the 'Super OC' GTX280

Quote:
Probably not happy with the clocks achieved with its first factory-overclocked GeForce GTX 280 (N280GTX-T2D1G -OC), MSI went back to the drawing board and returned with plans for the N280GTX-T2D1G Super OC. The new GT200-powered card is based on Nvidia's reference card and features 240 Stream Processors/Processing Cores, 1GB of GDDR3 memory, DirectX 10 and triple-SLI support plus a PCI-Express 2.0 interface.

Also boasting a 512-bit memory interface, the card has its GPU, shader and memory clocks set to 700 (602 MHz stock), 1400 (1296) and 2300 (2234) MHz respectively. The GeForce GTX 280 Super OC can now be found in European stores for just under 387 Euro.

you've got to think, thats a stock heatsink they're using...and a default OC like that is impressive

With my stock cooler i can run 690 core 1500 shaders and 2300 memory no problem, i wouldn't pay extra for this overclocked edition, especially if it uses the stock cooler.

I'm pretty sure if you OC'd one of these, it would be higher than 690/1500/2300
