Default [Frostytech] Top 5 Low Profile Intel & AMD Heatsinks

http://www.frostytech.com/top5_lowprofile_heatsinks.cfm

Quote:
Sorted into categories for heatsinks measuring less than 110mm, 75mm or 30mm tall, Frostytech ranks the best compact CPU coolers available by thermal performance and quietest operation. The first list is for Intel processor heatsinks, the second for AMD processor heatsinks. To find the absolute best heatsinks regardless of size, go to the main Frostytech Top 5 Heatsink Chart for a complete run down.

HOW IT WORKS: The #1 Rank is considered the current Top heatsink meeting the specific height limitation, #5 is the 5th BEST. Full size heatsinks are not included here, and do offer significantly better thermal results. Only heatsinks that Frostytech has tested are included in these lists; as such some heatsink models available on the market are omitted, this is not an indication of "the best low profile heatsink ever". Please click on any heatsink listed below for a detailed review and the official thermal and acoustic test results. Manufacturers and vendors are NOT permitted to make any claims of performance from these lists.

At least stock heatsinks are #1 in...something

AMD's for cooling and Intel's for noise

If your case is small.

But everything on this list gets destroyed by any kind of 120mm tower.

Looks to me like the Scythe Shuriken has the best thermal/noise ratio. I should see if I can get a review unit so I can test it out.
