Christ, 6.7 GHz? It gets what, 5 seconds 1M in SuperPI? That's crazy. Too bad you can't run it 24/7 at that speed.

Carlos Slim has officially killed CompUSA. Oh, thanks for ruining one of my favorite stores. I will never forget you, CompUSA. Newegg.com is now my PRIMARY source for computer parts.

Bravo.

Nice OC on the Core Architecture

Can't beat the Netbursts in terms of pure clock speed though

The point isnt necessarily the end performance, but that you can push a chip higher than anyone else.
It's a just-because-you-can sort of thing, and it is admittedly pretty cool.

The chances of that are slim, extremely slim. You see, it isn't all about temps anymore. These chips don't even need anyu kind of special cooling to max out the voltage on them.

WC'ing will more than likely have no advantages over air cooling. The reason is because you will reachthe max safe voltages regardless of what cooling you are using.

The only way you are getting 4.8 out of that chip is if you go over the recommended safe voltage, no type of cooling is going to prevent damage when you do that.
