I'm with you all the way Green Team. Soldier on!
Me 2! but I think ATI has done an amazing job this round and has clearly taken the performance crown.

In that case, how powerful must HD4870X2 be?

just wait until Cat 8.8's (i almost feel bad about getting a second 4870.....my upgrade path has hit a wall, lol)

at least aftermarket cooling and overclocking 2 separate cards will be easier

Been saving for an upgrade for a while myself. I've had nvidia cards for some time now, I was going to get a gtx280, but this ati card is top class for an upgrade. I don't think the rumors going around that nvidia chips are failing are helping nvidia much as far as competing.

Considering a 280GTX is only $400 now, I'm glad ATI is back!

I'm pretty sure Guru3D are nvidia "lovers". Just check the conclusion of their review, where they talk about how they prefer single gpus over dual gpu solutions, and come up with what I would consider, shaky reasons against it.

Example: Check Crysis http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon...w-crossfire/12 and http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...md,1992-5.html

I smell some biased reviews....
I believe the guru3D review did Crysis at medium settings, while Toms had it at "max detail."

Yea, I went through guru3D's last night and saw that. Why the hell would you bench the new ultra-high end cards on medium???
