Whats a few days to find out if the fix works grunion.
It had to be some odd quirk since the other 38/48 MBs arent screwy with the ATI X2 cards.

BTW, that looks like "Hardware News" to me

It all came from one guy who mentioned that the initial bios release for the x38 board worked with the cards. They forwarded the info to R&D who must have figured out the problem extremely quickly. The post only came yesterday. I wonder why it took that long to figure out. SOURCE

Agreed. The DFI board with the fix should be enough reason to cancel the order on the RF.

Which step is the final step that you can cancel an order(Newegg)? BTW I'm at the charged step.

I'll still wanna test this bios before I decide.

Once an order is submitted it can only be amended or edited by calling Newegg.com customer service at 1-800-390-1119. Once our warehouses have scanned an order, items cannot be added or deleted. Once any box from an order is shipped, the order cannot be voided.

I think once the order has made it past step 2 (payment accepted), you cant make changes. Once it has made it to step 5, it has been shipped and cant be cancelled. I dont think I have ever seen step 3 or 4. I would just call the 800 number first thing in the morning (7:00 AM PST).
