Does he mean a freezing 50C? My quad is loading at 60 C, and my laptop (P4 @2.8) runs at probably 50 or 60 at least.

Quite an impressive achievement. I would love to see how one of these compares to desktop processors in terms of performance, especially at that speed.

Since when is 50c scorching? That's good for 4Ghz.

Still, that thing is massive, but it's no replacement for a real desktop heatsink.

well, when you have it at your desk, put it on that cooler overclocked, on the go, leave it at a lower OC, makes sense to me

$150 for the cooler though and i think that cpu is more expensive due to an unlocked multi......
