Default where to buy?

I just installed a thermalright T-rad2 on my 4870. It is doing a great job on the GPU and the ram is ok. The VRM's are still too warm.
IandH,
Do you sell direct or should I just order these from Petra's?
Cheers

My shop was tied up on a super hot job so these took a little longer than usual. Luckily it looks like the 4870's should stick around for at least a little bit.

It's hard to see in the pics but the VRM sinks are a bit taller than standard height since these run a bit hot. Good case airflow is a must with this card.
What kind of equipment do you have for the production of these?

Did you do any analysis on the heat transfer and dissipation properties of these?

Default another option

Hey I

I have the 4870 in an HTPC case so it doesn't get as much airflow as i would like. I have been looking at options and I came up with this...

Another way to use your setup would be with 2 of the VRM sinks. One on the front as normal, then another on the back of the card. You would need slightly longer screws to mount it, but I bet you would get a significant temp drop.

You wouldn't need to re-tool your operation, and you can sell the kits with 2 VRM sinks as an upgrade option.

Any chance you could test this set up to see how well it cools?
Cheers
