I swear, some vid cards are worth buying just for the looks. Those look like a part of the F-117 stealth fighter.

?

I wasn't claiming your post was in anyway a repost... Only that I've seen this cooler before and new it would find it's way onto GFX cards and (eventually)into the retail channel.

Fail, who says that?

Haha. I wasn't claiming that you were claiming that this was a repost. I was just curious as to why that one never made it into shops.

Hopefully these will. Well just the 4850's all I care about so...

And I've seen this before too, I even posted on that thread.

EDIT:

Only thing crappy about that card imo is you have to use ASUS software to see the temps.

last i checked the ASUS software worked decently, even let people change the fan speeds on their 4850 when they first came out.

So much ASUS videocard products that were just on show and never came out. I'm guessing their focusing all their resources on mobos. HD 3850x2 took forever and finally came out a few weeks before the 4000 series. Fail or not it will be interesting if these cards to come out.

I'm not arguing how well it works, I just don't like being forced to use a specific piece of software. To get that fan speed thing, I believe you need to install special ASUS drivers. Fan speed options hasn't shown up for me in any of the drivers I have used and I don't really want to use ASUS ones since last I checked they are still on 173 or something like that.

For the other 2 people:

Who knows, maybe it is just my card. Temps only show up in the ASUS software for me. From what I've read while trying to figure out how to fix it, they use some special sensor dealy.

EDIT: http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?...age=1&count=60

Quote:
ASUS support told me this morning that they use a special Sensor in this card
and because of that there is no program that can give us info about the card.
