Works with 64 bit but not XP MCE 2003..

I don't like the Zune software though.

The Zune is a great product, just needs more attention from Microsoft.

i've dropped my zune from my hand (3 feet i guess) onto solid concrete. All that happened was a TINY TINY bump on the corner which i can barely see or feel, and my brother has punched the zune screen as well. It's much more solid than the ipod classic my friend has

No. It works for 64 bit Vista, but not XP x64.

I regret getting my iPod touch now that the Zune was released in Canada. I got to test one of them and god it was so great in my hands. I want one of the new ones now

Don't get me wrong. I love the Zune player, I love the interface, I love how it looks. If the build quality was increased and it supported FLAC, I would buy a new one right now.

Ever stop and think that the extra features on Zunes aren't wanted/needed by a lot of people? And have you ever stopped to think that ipods might actually be decent players?

I humor my friend who uses itunes as his everyday music program.. and he deletes every other one i put on when i come over haha
oh well

Glad to see Microsoft isnt giving up on the zune, they are much better than the icrap and the software just takes the cake.
I used to use Winamp to manage my music on my ipod until it deleted everything for someone unknown reason. Then I used iTunes to manage it. I generally hate iTunes, but if you prevent it from managing your music completely, it's not bad. I just drag and drop music from Windows Explorer onto the iTunes screen and it transfers music to the ipod just fine...so doing it that way isn't terrible.

I forwent FLAC and use straight WAV files now. Sure it takes up a lot of space, but with a 60GB player I might as well make use of all that space. Can't beat the quality of a WAV, right?

Yeah, i connected it to my brother's computer and all my album covers got changed to aerosmith haha
But since then, its been fine. I use Media monkey because of the album artwork, Itunes isnt consistant with it for some reason and im an artwork stickler haha

I would use .wav if they supported artwork tags.

You can't beat the quality of a .wav, but you can beat the size. .FLAC has the same exact quality in the third of the space. When you have 65+ GB of FLAC files, converting them to .wav is an issue.
