Perfect example of how hype affects the market. People buy Apple products because they see those awful Mac vs PC commercials, and avoid the Zune, because its Microsoft, and everyone knows its impossible for Microsoft to release anything worthwhile.
![]() Zunes are priced the same as iPods, but come with more features, so I don't see why any Windows user would get an iPod over a Zune.

I own a 1st gen Zune and a 2nd Gen...i love them, really. But i dont like how they over hype it. They make a lot of news for about 2 weeks, then drop all updates on software and advertising completely. Now they have a 3rd gen coming out, which means we will get some good support for 2 weeks then wait for 6 months and get the 4th Gen, then the 5th...6th...etc etc.

Plus the Zune software just sucks. Plain and simple. Looks great but functionality is piss poor. WMP did a fine job with handling tagging and creating a media library, Zune still screws up.

Personally, I like the zune AND it's software. I have a 30gig first gen that's still in great shape and is my daily audio player. People who use it at work really like it, they've just never heard of it. They're like, where do you get those?

No FLAC support? I'm not buying. Doesn't really add to the fact that a 3 foot drop kill my Zune's screen and I'm not paying $150 to get it fixed or dropping $250 for a new one. My iPod Touch survived a 6 foot fall directly on it's screen onto tile and it managed to survive without a scratch or hook-up.

I love my zune, and dont really want to sell it.
Only got a touch through a trade, wouldnt have bought it.. itunes is god-aweful, but thank God for media monkey ![]() I humor my friend who uses itunes as his everyday music program.. and he deletes every other one i put on when i come over haha oh well Glad to see Microsoft isnt giving up on the zune, they are much better than the icrap and the software just takes the cake.

What are you talking about? it works in 64 bit. im running it right now. it was just when they first came out they didn't work in 64 bit. the new zune software supports 64 bit xp and vista, u just got to find the link to the right version on the zune site. which isn't hard to find
