ATi won this round because like nvidia it dint have to make up + and cores. Also can those people that say 4850 pls stop. I have my card volt modded and i get only 60C load with 710 core which i very good for sinle slot and takes much less space then the dual slot,

It seems that driver issues can happen depending on what card you have, I get nVidia ones all the time, and ATI was the best drivers I've ever had, but others have had the opposite.

I am not a fanboy, I have a Core 2 Duo E8300 and Pentium Dual Core E2180 as well as the CPU in my sig rig, I also have multiple nVidia cards (6800GS, 9400GT, 9600GT) as well as two ATI. (HD4890 + HD2400Pro)
Using my backup rig for nostalgia factor.
I'm boycotting any games made by Activision until Kotick says bye bye.

ATI + ? =

ATI just doesn't have any good brands, hence why I am still going with a GTX260 after reading this article.

HIS = Dual slot coolers and usually better cards then reference models. (in the IceQ dual slot cooler series)

Sapphire = Water cooled cards, Toxic edition with nice factory overclocks.

Diamond = big dog, nothing to fancy, puts out every model and usually does their own factory overclocks.

Power Color = Lifetime warrenty, usually the cheapest cards by base price.

oh ok, well thats nice to know.

But which ATI brand has a modders warranty? (oc it, volt mod it, watercool it.. and if you break it send it back and they give ya a new one)

Well, the one with lifetime warrenty does.


And I know HIS replaced a card I tool the original HS/F off of, and did a OC past factory and volt mod on. They only have a 3 year warrenty though.

indeed, ATi's top card, although housing two chips, is still just one overall card and doesn't need a multiple-support or support-brand motherboard...
