Early Denebs are going to be AM2+ and later AM3 will be introduced. You will also be able to drop an AM3 deneb on a AM2+ mobo since AM3 denebs will have both DDR2 and DDR3 memory controller. Only thing is that if you drop an AM3 deneb on an AM2+ mobo, you have to use DDR2 RAM.

I have an SB750 chip and an AM2+ socket mobo!,it´s coming tomorrow! i just can´t waitttt to see this baby hit the market!.

Yes,the first deneb´s will be AM2+,the 3.0ghz edition was supposed to be he Phenom 20550,and the 2.8ghz 20350.Then next year they will all go with AM3 socket,but it´s the same thing,you can use an AM3 deneb in your AM2+ motherboard,using it with your ddr2 memory instead of the ddr3 you will use in AM3.

And that´s just fantastic if this is real,AMD will win the battle of sockets!,for an i7 core you have to change your mobo and they are much more expensive,it´s just not worth it.

And those deneb´s are supposed to cost 300 bucks!
