Things changed after Dell bought them.

Now there is even Dual 9800 GT/GTXs which beat the 8800 GTXs.

Maybe they're going to put two 3870 X2 in it? :P

It costs $1,649 for the dual 3870s, C2D P8400 2.26GHz, 2GBs of RAM, 160GB HDD, and a 17" with the resolution of 1440 x 900.

Not too overpriced, but not that good of a deal either.

Ugh... Why must laptops lag so far behind desktops in GPU's. They've certainly caught up with CPU's.

Power consumption, unless people start whining about only 30 mins. of battery life.

I'll give £100 to anyone who can prime this with it on your lap (and GPU stress test it at the same time). It'd be like putting your legs into a microwave.

That just the thing people whine about battery consumption cause they bought a powerful laptop and they only use it for work or some other stuff like email etc.

Which is why I'm hoping people will get smart before buying a laptop ,which is buy a laptop with a long lasting battery if your only going to use it for work and or as stated above.

A GAMER would understand the power consumption issue.

A difference between a power laptop and a GAMER laptop.
