"Discounts cut into ASPs (average selling prices), taking a toll on revenue for both Nvidia and the market overall” noted JPR. µ

Where you see 5% from last year? It said up 5% in Q3 08 from Q2 08... Did I read something wrong?

I thought I read from Tech report that the 40% applied to only HD4000 discrete cards, that means HD3600 and 3400 are not included here.

Maybe it's just a typo, because the implications are scary if it wasn't.
