Boo I just did the step-up to the gtx 260 core216 and it was still $299.99!

Will they be offering refunds for this or no?

Nope. I am sending in my card to step up to the 260 core216 too and the price tag in EVGA's store is still $300

It's a great card

Really huge though. I had heard it was a PITA to put in an A900 but I had no trouble whatsoever.

decisions, decisions...

I've never been one to go "bleeding edge" on my builds. I am used to settling for the best mid range parts I can find. A competitive price on a 260 core216 ($200-$250 range) would make my upcoming GPU upgrade even more confusing. I had planned on going with a 4850, but it's looking more and more like I will be able to afford either a 260 or a 4870. I'm not complaining though, having to make these decisions is an awesome feeling
