LOL there are some really impatient little children in here. do yall have any idea how inventory even F'n works??? they have to sell the stuff they paid higher prices for FIRST. THEN you will see the price drops. free roller think before you type. it will show.

That like you going out and buying a super nice car for (example) $50,000. After the weekend they have a "happy Tuesday sale" and the same thing you bought is now $40,000. How would you feel? I know how inventory is and pricing trends, I work at a retail store myself and assist with price and credit coordination projects.

What was that you said about thinking before you type...? Because this is just common sense. If the customer knows that the price is supposed to be lower, they're not going to pay a retailer's higher price just to cover the retailer's loss. No, the manufacturer pays that price, not the consumer or the reseller.

Since when does GTX 260 match a 4870x2 in performance. I thought the 4870x2 beat even a GTX 280

Heres something i noticed. combo deal with the gtx 260 216 core.
eVGA 780i FTW $249.99 ($40 MIR) eVGA GTX 260 - 216 Core $289.99 Total 539.98 - $40 instant on GTX 260 - 216 Core - $45 combo - $40 MIR Total $414.98 is this right? i didnt do any errors in calculation, did i? But considering the board is 210.. and the gfx is 249.99 after instant.. - 45 on combo...... couldnt that kinda make the gfx 205.99??? slick deal? yes yes?

EVGA Core 216 above. I've been stalking the bastards and they have been coming down. The offer in link is instant saving, no free shipping. The "off brand" 192's are dipping below 200 as well. EVGA and BFG cards on newegg and tiger have hovering around 269-279 for the past little bit. $250 is the cheapest Ive seen for a core 216 though. Still waiting...
