I'm pretty sure what he said is very valid and stayed constant throughout the thread. 2 GTX 260 Core 216's WILL beat a 4870x2..... and be cooler and cheaper. Heres a link of proof in crysis.... http://techreport.com/articles.x/15293/8

Some games it beats the 260 but it seems pretty even.

The test went as anticipated. The 260 beating the 4870 most of the time even if it is by a frame here and there. Both are great cards but the 260 is simply a better buy right now.

For those of you who think the 4870 should be compared to the 280 and the 4850 should be compared to the 260...what are you smoking??

All that review stats is that performance is more attributed to game optimization than to pure GPU power. Yes, the 216s destroy the 4870 in Crysis. If you look at Assassin's Creed, it's the complete opposite.

When it comes down to it, the video card you buy should be based more on the games you play.

Because the GTX 260 is down to $250 on Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130398) plus a lifetime warranty, I think that's the one I'll spring for

A few points i noticed clever wording. Other then that looks credible enough and the numbers make sense.

They say what they do with TWIMP games pulling for nVidia and everything else throwing at ATI for an easy win.
