I hope you intel fanboys know that the current Phenom range can sort of match the Core2 range clock-for-clock? Taking this into consideration, a Phenom II at 4Ghz will be an awesome gaming CPU.

2nded. It is hit or miss though. Well threaded apps take Phenom to godly levels of power. Not so well threaded apps (pretty much all of them) leave it just a little under Core 2 usually. Sometimes quite a bit lower.

Phenom (Deneb) wasnt meant to fight with Core i7.Even AMD didnt think it could compete with it.I believe it should be with Yorkfield.Anyway,just wait its released and see if its shocked the world,just like the GPU Parts.
