I can't believe there is this much Intel/AMD, AMD/Intel hate. Get a life dudes.
In the end Tech is Tech.... Cant we all get along and beat up the Apple kids together?

1. The new Phenom II's are faster, clock for clock, than the old Phenoms so there goes your idea right there. 2. A lot of the older AMD chips had a cold bug that didnt allow the record overclocking like you see now. Not having a cold bug just means the ceiling has been removed for overclocking 3. This IS a real world performance. The only thing that remains to be seen is how well the average user can OC, but this is a good step forward.
