Let's keep the fanboy comments to a minimum por favor. EDIT: If a mod wants to move this to software news, go for it. EDIT2: For an alternate read, see ArsTechnica and their take on the issue

Okay? So......
Where is the conflict? Where did GOOGLE mess up? All I see is apple was lenient on their app approval

Google took advantage of the "instant approval" that they got for being Google...

Can anyone else put in? Google can do whatever Google wants to Google, Isn't it their own company?

Lol. No, Google took advantage of the fact that Apple expedited anything they [google] submitted... Google should have known better than to violate the contract terms by submitting an app that clearly violates the EULA.

I did not get anywhere near knowing either company was associated with each other. I was thinking that a user was submitting the same apps to both companies or something Ok I get it now, but I guess my question now is, who cares? Google is making their own phone software now and they want to take down the iPhone right? Or do they still want to help Apple?

Hey, ArsTechnica picked it up as well :P

This is probably a good move for Apple. With Google a competitor, all Apple has to do is break the app, and Google suffers, because in the eyes of the consumer, it is Google's app that broke, not Apple's fault.
