And yeah, I highly doubt they're cherrypicked. Well, they are, lol the scores are best of five chips, but that's just the individual overclockers cherrypicking from the pile AMD provided. That pile was production-grade I'm sure.

Also, lol @ the 3Dm06 score. 35,000 marks with a single video card.

Haha.

Yep, they have to be retail-grade, or else a pile of 5 would not have been given to each of the teams in the first place.

Oh wait...what's that... I think it's something called. PROOF. Yes AMD has provided proof of their OC, lets see some of the intel fanboys try to deny that.

I am definitely excited for this.

I swear this is the first CPU release that has ever got me excited. If AMD can really do this well, welcome back and keep the burner hot on Intel.

We should know in a couple of weeks if these cpu's are the real deal, when they start hitting the shelves. I would come more to believe overclocks and benchmarks from seasoned OCN vets than anything else. Heard all this before with the first Phenoms that came out. I am more skeptical now than before.

Yes, however the first phenoms were demoed only at 3GHz like once. Also, none of the Phenom 1's came stock at 3GHz did they? These ones do. There has been a few events for Phenom 2 overclocks, and they have all OCed very well. If you look at this article. 5 chips were given, it took 30 minutes for both teams to OC one of those five to just under 4GHz on air. It's quite impressive and realistic if you ask me.

If you look at the cpuz validations, there are Phenom 2's popping up at around 4GHz+. Take a look here.

Some people will always be skeptical, but cmon, a lot of proof has been seen for the Phenom 2's.
