I'd like to know what that means also. Maybe they have some high binned PhenomII's that are potential FX chips set aside already.

And nice work on the OC'ing. Those are some good numbers. It was nice to see some air cooled tests because as of late it seemed to be a big LN2-Peen competition between AMD and Intel. I hope those were not cherry picked so that we can see more results like that here on OCN in the near future.

it just shows how much confidence AMD has with the phenom II to actually build an i7 rig overclocked @3.2GHZ and sit it right next to theirs playing the same demo while both running a 4870x2.

Great news for AMD. I've always liked AMD, but I like Intel as well. More competition means better products at better prices, nothing wrong with that.

I won't be buying one... only cause I can't justify when my q6600 does all I need BUT WOW IF I had to make a choice between phenom 2 and i7... PHENOM FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!! way to go amd!
