Default [VR-Zone/Plaza.fi] GTX 295 - Nvidia Review & Pricing ($499)

Link found at VR-Zone. Finnish Site. Google English.
Quote:

NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang has acknowledged that the summer of improperly evaluated pricing and product configuration of AMD's näytönohjaimien relationship caused the pressure on the company's GPU-business. Now the GeForce GTX 295 is set for the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2's over, and NVIDIA with its recommendation on the price will be 499 U.S. dollars.

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) If you have a question, it is not news (6) Report, not respond to Spam (7) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular

If it actually retails for $499 like they claim and it runs decently cool this sounds like a great card for those looking for the current "best of the best" card. thanks for posting!

Nvidia charts? Um, ATi, Intel, and AMD have also used those idiotic charts. It's not just a Nvidia thing.

I hate it when they do that.

Look at the FC2 Bar, the bars show that if the 4870X2 got 10FPS then the GTX295 got 16FPS, BUT the size of the nv bar is twice the ati bar.

AMD/ATI also did this so can't blame nvidia only.
