Default [TcM]Asus S121, first notebook with 512GB SSD

Quote:
At first glance, Asus' upcoming Atom-powered super-slim notebook, the S121, looked like just a bigger version of the S101 but it seems that it will actually be a record breaker. According to its maker, the S121 will be the first laptop to feature a 512GB solid state drive (probably made by Toshiba).

Also boasting a 12-inch screen, the laptop will have a 1.33 GHz Atom CPU, some 1/2 GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, and, when equipped with the 512GB SSD, a hefty, pocket-burning price tag. Asus hasn't mentioned anything about the S121's price range or release date.

The 512GB is gonna cost more than the rest of the unit combined....

Also, why such the lowend specs:
1.33 GHz Atom CPU?
512MB RAM?

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) If you have a question, it is not news (6) Report, not respond to Spam (7) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular

Specs are getting hammered due to the SSD probably?

I guess it's cool to see an SSD, but the Asus N10 looks better than this.
