I got ya. I've been the same way on certain items. The nice thing is they, pioneer is still going to have there warranty's and fix them if need be. Plus bestbuy has there warranty.

I heart Plasma and Pioneers line was amazing but also too pricey for me lol.

Resolution is a big one. It is harder to find a 1080p Plasma. Plasma TVs are also susceptible to image burn-in, although it isn't as bad as it used to be.
