Its noted for being able to run OSX well. But from personal experience and making hackintosh systems before. I would not put OSX on it. As its just not going to run well.

I would apply for an Apple Credit Card, and use that to buy a Macbook Air or whichever their netbook is at the moment.
It would work out much easier for you.

Mac OSX on non mac hardware just never seems to work as well as a Mac does. And I cannot explain why.
Besides that Apple did something on purpose to keep it this way.

using SetFSB to up the Atoms to 1.8 (minimum) or 2.0 (avg. maximum) usually yeilds a huge boost in performance. And the same battery life.

Actually, if you know what you're doing, I've had a Hackintosh running far better than a Mac.

Stop trolling. What the hell do you want on a 10" screen? 1600x1200? It's not bad resolution for the size. It's not a laptop made for huge resolution and high graphics. It's a netbook and they are fantastic to use.

Until you use one, stop complaining.

How specifically? I've heard that all the hardware for the original WINDs is supported, so I wouldn't imagine anything being broken on the hardware side. I could understand if there were some things broken due to the fact that the system might not register as an "apple computer."

The MBA is too big for a netbook (netbook != "smaller"), and if I were to ditch my MB, I would specifically want a netbook. A netbook with a 9 hour battery life as mentioned in this article is exactly what I'm looking for.

Plus, the MBA is just damn expensive.

Yeah, obvious reasons -_-

I do whatever I can to get the maximum battery life. I would underclock, if it's possible (which I believe it is?).

If this releases with a 9 cell lithium ion battery and a 10" screen and along with the 1.6 ghz atom and hd3200 and 400, then this is the best netbook out their.

How the heck am I trolling?! It has an HD3200 which can play Cod4 just fine at low settings. But its pointless to have a netbook if you have to lug around an LCD around or have one at home to watch an movie. If that was the case, then i'd spend more money on a better laptop instead of a screen.

Honestly, this isn't designed to watch a movie on. It's a netbook. There's a reason the screen isn't huge and isn't capable of HD resolution. It's a netbook!

If the reason someone looks to buy this is "can it play COD4 and can it watch a movie in HD?" then that's a pathetic reason and they're looking at the wrong machine considering this isn't designed to do either. It may be possible to play COD4, but it's definitely not designed to be a huge factor for gaming.
