Geez what's the commotion with Crossfire.


My bet is that this can overclock decently under air, but the real deal is that it allows FURTHER price cuts to be made in the near future. nVidia would choke pricing the GTS240-err 9800GT at 70/80USD MSRP already. ATI would still have plenty of breathing space.

That's untrue. You can do quad-fire with these, and they make boards that you can do this with. And you don't need two X2s to do quad-fire

He is thinking Nvidia style. They can only quadfire with Dual PCB cards.

ATi can quadfire 4850's, 30's etc.
