That's because it's not a prototype, it's just a rebranded/tweaked 700series. Prototype boards are barebones at best.

I know this thread is a bit old, but did anyone else notice the 2008 copyright on the PCB? Does that mean RD890's been in the latter stages of development since '08?

And what is a 700 series board? Nvidias reference board that companies like Evga and XFX copy and produce.

Not to mention a fast google search even comes up "980a reference board"
