Easy. Whoever pays for the hardware, owns the hardware! What's important is there are a bunch of other witnesses to see through the benching process so that any biases can be ruled out.

Yeah these graphs seem all kinds of messed up. Typically the benches on OCN seem to be the best. They are real world you just can't trust some of these sites anymore.

yeah, but $25 x 2 for me to see my hardware benched?

and i know there's not enough cash in this website to warranty dead hardware should the reviewer overclock it to the max and something go wrong.

i DO think it's a good idea though, just not very fesible

On Topic (kind of): Not that I agree with the chart one bit but, it seems like no matter who posts any form of benchies; there seems to be an outcry about the results. i.e...my 295 gets way better results or my X2 smokes the 295 blah, blah blah...
IMHO, just take it for what it's worth. 1 sites/reviewers perspective with said set-up. Nothing more. Hell, if you card rates higher, then post some benchies damn it. lol.

Doesn't matter how they got the price, if you cannot get accurate information then don't release a chart like this for a comparison that you want the community to base any decisions on. When you release comparisons like this you should back it up with good information, or it isn't entirely credible.

That is just my take on it. If we wanted to use a guide like this to make a price/performance ratio, we'd be screwed. No point in even showing prices if you know they might be wrong.
