Default [sweclockers]Asus builds Special dual GTX 285

Quote:
A new graphics card from Asus to be shown up at Computex, but it is not about the model at any time. The creative engineers have to combine two Geforce GTX 285 to reach top performance.

The new graphics card called the Asus Geforce GTX 295 in March and is no less than two Geforce GTX 285, which merged in a double sandwich. This means higher clock frequencies than the regular GTX 295 and the more entertaining the whole 4 GB of GDDR3 memory on dual 512-bit buses.

Holy hell, 4gb of ram? Will anyone ever use that much (when it comes to gaming)?

It's cool I suppose, everyone's working on new products until NV comes out with the 300 series. My 216 is doing just dandy, won't need a new card till 300's hit the floor.

Basically, this is 2GB GTX285 SLI on a single card.

Do want. I wonder if it works in quadfire, or possibly another single 285 for tri-fire?

EDIT:
Damn, it's a limited edition, only 1000 being made... it's gonna cost a crapload of money

Back to waiting for G300.

I think you mean quad SLI or tri-SLI! Huang will haunt your dreams tonight for saying that!

So beautiful. I bet it runs crazy hot though. Probably needs some water.

It says "Limited Edition 1/1000" on the card so they'll probably only make 1000 of em.

When I had my HD 4850, I was able to tri-SLI it. So, maybe!
